Well you live and learn. I thought that by the start of the 90s lead loading would be a thing of the past. Thanks for the info lads , that's what makes this forum the best!!

My 89 is full of lead where the roof meets the rear 1/4 panels and where the buttress meets the rear screen. I also lead loaded the RH rear guard where it had been repaired and plastic filler used.

Beauty of lead is, if done correctly it will never fall out or rust underneath.
