Default XJS Production Numbers?

I'm looking for someone who know the XJS models and can fill me in on a couple questions
Looking to buy my second XJS. I see one advertised as a 90 but has the older 4 headlight front and then another 90 that has the euro lights. Was it option to order one or the other? or does someone have their year wrong?

Headlight type depended on the market not year of production.

Thanks, but what do you mean market? So both style headlights were available for many years?

In USA the big single headlights were 1992 and later, but people did retrofit them. Outside the USA mostly they have the big single headlights the whole 20+ years of production.
