Default XJS rear brake replacement

So, just got quoted a number for replacing rear pads, rotors and calipers. .. seems high. Anyone Have any suggestions/experience with this? And no, I'm not going to do this myself. (1) I don't have the time and (2) I don't trust myself.

The figure I got for the valve cover gaskets seemed reasonable so made me wonder if there is something super complicated with this car and it's rear brakes. .. :-/

Thanks all. ..

Need more info
How much was the quote? What parts are being replaced? What year? Inboard or outboard brakes?

If they are inboard they can be a bit of a pain, 95% of mechanics are unfamiliar with them and quote a lot of labor. If the book time is high, there isn't much you can do.

You can do this pretty easily on a lift, but i'm guessing the book time adds on more hours for removing the cage and whatnot. Always get a second quote. Was this a generic shop or a european/british shop?
