very sad day.

need to sell my 3.6 XJS 1986 61,500miles. In nearly mint condition (2 bits of trim to replace), loys of history, very original. - am looking at around £2000 - £2500. Based in Kent UK. Am i being unreasonable?

Sad day when you have to sell but it does seem a bit cheap to me.
Check out Local Jaguar For Sale Search and you'll be able to get an easy comparison of similar models on ebay.

Sounds a bit cheap to me, given the description.
Unfortunately xjs prices are all over the place, good luck.
Need to sell mine as well, now I'm back from holiday abroad. This weather puts people off it seems.

You lucky Brits...so many Jaguars to choose from, so inexpensively. But where do you park them? When I visit my folks in Surrey/Hampshire I see cars parked on roadsides, or jammed into tiny spots btwn houses so you have exit through a window. So many old garages built for the Austin Seven that can hardly be called garages now. Don't get me started on multi-storey carpark spaces. One is almost forced to drive a Clio.
