Hi, I’ve recently purchased an XJS which is being shipped from Japan. I’m trying to get parts ready before it arrives, and from the pictures I have (you get a lot of pictures through the export process) it looks like there is a steering rack leak. It takes time to import parts, and I’m just eager to get cracking.

Does anyone know which rack this is (Adwest or ZF)? The car is a ‘94 model year with the AJ16 engine.

That’s very much! That means I can see what’s already in country. Out of interest does the 6.0L have the same rack as the 4.0L?
