a couple of years ago I replaced my headlamps with a NOS pair. Everything went well, and they look great, but sadly these guys broke of in the process, as careful as I was to not destroy them:
They are now NLA, probably a 6 dollar piece if they where still available new, and I am pretty sure any used pieces will crack upon attempting to remove as they are quite brittle, and if someone has them brand new they will probably want to charge 100x the original cost, as it goes with so many eBay NOS sellers of XJS parts.
Has anyone found a solution for this- perhaps from another car? I have been looking at Ford vehicle headlamp diagrams from around the same time, and non seem to have the cable adjusters.....if I can find a more common car with headlamp cable adjusters in the engine bay, then I will probably be able to find a good solution.
