Driver side (LHD) door. The 2 single wires go to the door light. Does anyone know what the other connector might be?

Just a Guess

Maybe something to do with the Sound System?

Door Speakers or Rear Speakers?

I see lots of orange in those wires. The door lock motors typically have orange wires...on the 80s vintage cars, at least.

Cheers

I have not tried the mirrors. Will check in the morning.
Not the sound system. All speakers work.
Door lock. I'll check that tomorrow along with the mirrors.
BTW - the car is a '93 4.0 coupe.

Thanks

Looking at the electrical diagram DD seems to have hit the nail on the head. My guess is that the other end lays inside the door and goes to the locks.

If only things were that easy ;-))
The PO has done quite a bit of creative wiring and I think I found another example. The wires on the left go to the door lock.
I'll be digging in a bit further tomorrow. It's a beautiful day and I thinkI'll take the convertible out for a spin.

Well, nothing to exciting. Just seems like the PO replaced the lock mechanism with a different type and just left the old wiring in place.

On to the next puzzle. . . Battery drain.
