Default $1k to Spend With Jag... What to Get?

Gang,

Someone got me a $1k gift certificate with Jag. What are the best accessories known and unknown to get?

I would like more aggressive trim as I have tan interior and burl walnut. I'd like some piano to break up the wood. Or do an aluminum or carbon kit.

What else should I consider?

Get 50 Jagaur coffee travel mugs!

If it were me, I'd just save it up for service! Or tires!

Use it on service.

Clothing or "lifestyle accessories" are a safe bet.

Aren't tires super high at dealer? Or about the same?

Clothing... How much of any car logo clothing can one wear without looking obnoxious ;-)

I vote for the Aluminum Spun trim in the interior if you are seeking to make a change. I have it in my 2009 XKR Portfolio Edition, and prefer that over the wood trim.

Otherwise, I agree with the others, save the $1000 for service items. Oil changes in New Mexico at the Jag dealer are $120.00 each.

Enjoy the gift certificate, that was a nice one.

I vote for the carbon fiber interior. What do just the parts cost though? Labor intensive too?
It would look hot in your car!

I didn't know there was any Carbon trim option! Service is no good as my car came with 5 years of service as well.

How about putting that $1,000 towards the Jaguar R Performance Academy? If you've already completed the Basic Course, you can take the Advanced Course. Here's the link: Jaguar Performance Driving Academy

Where else can you drive someone else's XKR like you stole it and not get arrested?

I concur with Stuart S.
Why waste a gift on service, when you can have fun.

Enjoy your gift certificate to its fullest. Do you already have the car cover? driving gloves? favourite driving glasses? A driving course is FUN!

Default 1st Jag?

If it's your 1st Jag, I'd spend it all on Viagra! You'll be needing it!

OOH! I just thought of something. Get the ACM (audio connectivity module) if you don't already have one.
