Pin out for this?
I am spending some time reading the electrical guide, but am not seeing a diagram of this connector.
This particular connector is located under the rear passenger seat bottom.
This connector was rather cruddy due to water ingress and I have cleaned and cleaned. Works nice for a day, then creeping crud returns and so do a bunch of faults.
What is the possibility of bypassing this connector and soldering or crimping the wires 'straight-thru' to bypass the crusty pins?
NEW TO ME:
2004 XJ8 - Topaz and Sand - Early car, VIN 02160 - 106K miles
Thank you-
Mag

fp6 and cv1
Looks like FP6 is the 22 pin connector (natural color) and the 6 way (grey) connector is cv1.
Seems like cleaning the grey one is the one that solved my park brake fault light. Does the 22pin have anything to do with ABS, DSC, Height Sensors, Suspension, grounds for these, possibly?

Electrical Guide - Thanks Don
Thanks to Don for suggesting that I become familiar with the electrical guide.
Based on that suggestion and my need to figure this connector out, I have found the following:
fp6-1 LH Rear Height Sensor YR
fp6-2 LH Rear Height Sensor YU
fp6-3 EPB-VAPowerSteering Y
fp6-4 EPB-VAPowerSteering YB
fp6-5 EPB-VAPowerSteering WU
fp6-6 DSC W
fp6-7 DSC N
fp6-8 DSC WR
fp6-9 DSC NR
fp6-12 Rt Fuel Sensor WR
fp6-13 RtLft Fuel Sensor BK
fp6-14 Lft Fuel Sensor WU
fp6-14 Rear Electronic Module WU
fp6-15 LH Rear Height Sensor YG
fp6-16 RH Rear Height Sensor BW
fp6-17 RH Rear Height Sensor BK
fp6-18 RH Rear Height Sensor BR
fp6-19 Engine Mgmt ECM GU
fp6-20 Engine Mgmt ECM O
fp6-20 Evap Canister Close Val O
Now if it throws code or light on dash, I (think I) know which pins to look at!
Thanks.

mag,
Sorry I wasn't able to respond earlier, but in the meantime you've done some great research and troubleshooting. Congratulations!
Your work will no doubt be helpful to others for years to come. In fact, I'm going to check those connectors on our car too!
Cheers,
Don
