Just purchased an '07 XK (and love it!) and there are some cosmetic issues (the shrinking dash for one), but one the issues that has me a little concerned is that when I open the roof, it will not go all the way down into the locked position. I have to open the roof 95% of the way get out of the driver's seat, push the switch to finish opening the roof and push down on the driver's side of the convertible stow-away (?) to get it to lock down. I have to repeat the same for the passenger side.
If it makes any difference the previous owner recently had a new top put on the car.
It gets annoying to constantly get out of the car to open the roof and I don't know if anything could be wrong and I could be worsening the issue.
Any help/tips are greatly appreciated!!
