Post Quicksilver Super Sport XK8 Upgrade

Yesterday I installed my new Quicksilver Super Sport Exhaust system to my 2007 JaguarXK8.

I have taken a few comparison videos. Sorry they are not the best quality, but they give you a good idea of the difference between the factory system and the Quicksilver Super Sport system. This may be a good place to start if you are thinking about upgrading.

All videos were shot with the car driving in normal automatic mode (No Sports mode).

Over all from the outside the exhaust sounds awesome.

However after driving the car for so long with the factory system and not being able to hear it inside the cab, it is going to take me a while to get use to hearing the exhaust rummble from inside the cab. At present it feels a bit loud, but this is probably because I am not use to it.

I would say the noise inside the cab sounds like that of your good old American muscle car. It is a very low, deep rumble. This is basically because you are inside a pod I guess. Out side where the sound can dissipate, it sound completely different.

Anyway I hope this helps when thinking about the Quicksilver Super Sport system.
