07 XK Side markers

Hey guys,
I have an 07 XK and am in the process of blacking out several bits.
How do you remove the chrome side markers on the rear of the front fenders?
I want to paint them Black...

Download the service manual via jagmanuals (free) for full instructions. From what I've read, you can access the mounting nuts from the back with the doors open.
