Default 18 inch Venus rims for 2010 XK

Hello, i wanted to ask if the oem Venus rims/wheels that are 18 inch can be used on a 2010 XK, I currently have 20 in rims and I'm' looking for an all season option for winter months and there are so many more tire options for the 18 inch wheels.

If so does are are there any ECU adjustments needed?

Regards,

If you go to tirerack.com you'll see that it shows the revolutions per mile for each tire and tire size. As long as the numbers for the tire you want are relatively close to the tires you already have, you don't need to make any adjustments to the speedometer reading.

I'm pretty sure the bolt pattern for the wheels is the same, but I'm not 100% certain. Someone else will have to answer that.

Thanks Reverend Sam, yes the bolt pattern is the same 5 X 108 mm. When i check on various site that sell the Venus wheel, it states 2007-2011 but i have also read that the rotor / calipers may need to be considered.

Has anyone with a 2010 or newer XK had Venus wheels installed?

Parts catalogue suggests 18" Venus rims were available for all XKs, but of course the 5.0 cars have a different rear wheel offset.

Thanks Aonsaithya, i have asked for confirmation from one of the Jaguar dealers that sells OEM parts. The catalog does show that the Venus fits a 2010 XK but i would like them to confirm.

I obtained my 2010 in March and i have alread had two flats due to pot hole and uneven pavement. Hoping that the 18 inch wheels will perform better.

Regards,
Regardless of JAGUAR DEALER or not, ensure that the Front offset is 49, rear is 46 for a 2010.

I ordered a set of wheels recently which were guaranteed to fit my 2010, and Right After I placed the order I noticed that the Offset was listed at 66, which would look RIDICULOUS on an XK. Luckily I called the place and got the order pulled and refunded.
Also, that company STILL lists them as a direct fit for XK XKR.

Thanks Cee Jay, just checked https://www.detroitwheelandtire.com/...9-sss-a-f.html and they do indeed have the correct offset for both front and rear, it will cost a bit to get a second set of reconditioned OEM Jag wheels but i think in the long run it will work as as i suspect i will just keep getting flats with the 20's.

Regards,

Glad for you, but even these fools have the wrong offset for the XK on the Nevis wheels they offer...... 66mm!!!!! They say for BOTH XF and XK. Idiots.

I just searched for just over two hours, and have come to the conclusion that most Wheel Sellers don't give a crap if they list the correct wheels for the XK or not. I only found TWO out of THIRTY different online wheel sellers that ACTUALLY HAVE THE CORRECT OFFSET for our XKs! Seriously. 2 of 30! 28 of them had the 66mm offset listed as Correct for rears on XK, 2010-2015.

Conclusion; if any forum member decides to buy new, refurbished or used wheels from ANYWHERE in the WORLD for their XKs, make DANG SURE that the offset is correct! Even the part numbers are mish-mashed, as "equivalent to Jaguar XK" when they are NOT.

~~~~~~~~~BUYERS BEWARE~~~~~~~~~!!!!!!!!
19" may be the minimum if it's an XKR, you may want to look into that first. Reviewing thread, it's XK....
