2000 XK8 Won't Start after 3 month storage
After storing the car for 3 months, XK8 will not start.
Here is what I know:
Getting spark
Battery is strong
No Fuel pressure
Not getting power to fuel pump relay or fuse #7.
Relay and fuse test ok.
Car cranks but no start
Could be bad pump but I would like to be sure before I buy one. I've been told that these cars have problems with fuel sensors. Being that pump is not getting power, could be an electrical problem.
Any help would be GREATLY appreciated!

Wrong Forum !
First question: you are in the wrong section !
This area is for 2006/7 onwards X150 (aluminum) XK/XKRs.
You'll get better help in the correct area !
Ask the Mods to move it.
My thoughts though:
I wonder if an 'inertial fuel sender' has kicked-in ??
I had one on my XJS, but no idea if your car has one. My 2008 does not.
Are you SURE the battery is good ?? I'd remove it and get it load-tested by a battery shop. And touch the vehicle + / - leads together (without the battery installed !!) to clear any 'weird' faults that may have arisen in the last few months sitting.
Good Luck !

Jeremy:
Your 2008 car DOES have an inertia fuel cut-off unit but it is not mechanically reset (by button) as on earlier Jaguars - going right back to the 80's. It is electronically reset (for example, after an accident). The procedure for resetting is in the owner's manual ("Status after a Collision", p.223 in my 07 manual).
