Hello Fellow enthusiasts. Question, would a later model BTooth module (eg. 2012 ECM) work in a 2007 vehicle? This year, my BT cannot connect/pair with phones this year. Maybe the mobile phone IO is too advanced for the current ECM? I have had a service centre reflash the S/W on the unit without resolve.

So, am thinking of hunting for a replacement and I believe from 2012 onward, the interface is improved and may work with current mobile phone IOs.

Peterborough…. I drive by your town often.
Do note that the bluetooth modules do seem to have an operational lifespan for many. Though not in my case.
However, I have not had any issue with connecting any phone device as yet.

Of course the bluetooth specification has significantly changed over these many years. Its interesting to me how well the backwards compatibility has performed. That is “Call Control Profile” still sits at 1.0 and is currently not identified as deprecated.

Re-read my post. The very first X150 Vin ended with B00001 so you are in the initial range. )"To VIN B07046: C2P11342 (6W83-10D893-AE)" You might have missed it as it's on the first sentence I wrote. At any rate my comments still apply. They are interchangeable. Good luck!
