Default 2007 xkr am radio not working

Have had my 07 xkr now for 6mo and am radio has always not worked. Did a search and found nothing. Have tried manual tuning, it's just totally off. Every thing else about unit works great (FM, CD, seak, etc.). It is like it's turned off?? Any help would be appreciated!,

All the connections of the coaxial antenna cable should be checked from the antenna to the radio. The antenna cable could have been unplugged during some long ago service and accidentally not plugged back in.

The radio will much more readily pick up FM stations even with the antenna unplugged, particularly if it was unplugged at the antenna or the splitter/signal amp.

I've got the same problem in my 07. Does anybody know off the top of their head where all the antenna connections are?

Do you still have the telescopic aerial or has it been replaced with a hidden wire? I installed a hidden wire on my '07 XKR and lost AM in the process so I assume the replacement aerial isn't tuned for AM?

Thanks, but can you tell me how/where the connections are? I have the original rear fender mounted antenna and it seems to function OK, meaning it goes up and down as radio is turned on/off.
