2007 xkr center console nothing working please help...
I have tested all the fuses I can find. This is a new purchase for me so I have no history on the problem. The touch screen works just fine. All controls below do not. So no home button no power button no radio or eject. Even though they work from touch screen. Hazzards do work and there is power to the cigarette lighter below.
Sounds like a loose connector in the stack. You could remove the center bezel and take a look, maybe unmount a couple things to take a look behind. Not really that difficult to do, I've done it myself a few years ago so I don't really remember the procedure, but there IS a Workshop Manual in the Sticky section on the X150 forum.
Course, it may also be a fuse. Those are also listed in the manual.

So i pulled the unit out and plugged everything back in still nothing. Perhaps I need a new unit. Strange this is it all works from the steering wheel controls.
Been there, done that. In my case it is a malfunctioning ACM module. Instead of replacing it: Only presents itself when I attempt to pair a Bluetooth device prior to car started and all systems active. (Very strange I know). My solution, never pair any Bluetooth device until after we are started and the power to the radio and climate control is on. As strange as it sounds, I don’t have this issue any longer.
Just a shot in the dark. Is the battery fully up to spec? I've had no navigation, no adaptive cruise control and other stuff, all of it when battery was starting to get weak. After a drive and a stop and start, both things worked again. Now with new OEM battery, no problems.
A guess, but a lot of our electric gremlins are due to lack of battery power
Ok, and to be sure, it was working not too long ago? And no work was done under the dash? Or to any other module in the car?
audio, climate control are all affected?
hmmm, Cee Jay’s thoughts on connectors, or the grounding nut has come loose (also happened to me) or a module loose or in need of repair... any codes? And do you have an actual voltage reading off the battery?

So I installed a new agm Battery today reading 12.6. Ols one was 12.1. Still no luck. I just purchased the car so I have no clue how long g its been out. The ac functions just fro. The screen so can only turn on or off. No codes showing but I only have a simple scanner. There are cd.s in the unit from the po. And the eject button is not functioning which is the worst part Barry Manilow and Britany Speers. All plugs in the rear seem to be OK. The passenger airbag light come on and goes out when I start the car. So I am still at a loss on this one.
New owner of the car has not worked during my ownership.
new agm battery installed today.
still nothing.
I had pulled the radio disconnected and re connected everything.
All function from stering wheel and touch screen.
The airbag light come on and goes out for passenger when I start the car.
its a strange one indeed
So it it was like this when you bought it, and has PO's previous CD's in it, you can probably surmise that it's not simply a fuse that's blown (no harm in checking them all though)
You have 2 choices
1) Take it back to seller
2) Sicc Cee Jay on them (you live in the same state)
When I buy a car I check EVERYTHING, that has been the case for the last 30yrs (before this I was too young and stupid) if something didn't work I adjusted the price accordingly (after checking the price of the fix) or walked away. In Utah with your desert temps I'd have thought being able to adjust climate control would have been the first thing you'd have checked on viewing/driving?

Yep. Especially on a Jaguar.... press *every* button and check it does what it's supposed to do. What might appear trivial can cost a fortune to fix. Remember the guy who needed a new sun visor? Seems a trivial issue... until you find out they cost hundreds of dollars to replace!
OK please just respond yes or no to whether each of these are working. They are different systems so bear with me. There is a long thin plug under the CD changer that can come loose and it's easy to miss if you don't know what you're looking for, especially if you're looking from the top. Please reply to the operational questions below and you may have to take the center stack out again and snap pics

Edit: the connector I'm referring to is under to CD stack is IP061. It's a 10 pin connector that feeds many of those functions, although it also feeds the hazards which you say is working. IP061/10 is the power feed pin on the connector. It comes from fuse 21 in the AUX junction box which also feeds the integrated audio module and information and entertainment control module .
pin 1 - ground
pin 2 -
pin 3 - MS Can Pos
pin 4 - MS Can Neg
pin 5
pin 6 - hazard
pin 7 - pad lamp airbag deactivation lamp
pin 8 - SRS Ignition
pin 9
pin10 - power from fuse

I was ok until you said it not twits rattling around my head. Fortunately I managed to fine an aux to 3.5 so I can use my phone to play whatever I want. It was a private sale in Utah which is what it is. I did get a good price now i know why. But I do enjoy tinkering so all is good. Thanks mate
