Default 2008 xkr convertible sticky buttons

Has anyone had to replace the buttons on the interior. Mine are getting sticky. I'm not sure if this is because of the sun when the top is down. any solutions on replacement or how to get the buttons to feel better.

There are many threads with a variety of solutions, but you have to be careful and use a product that won't damage the printing on the buttons. Many Forum members were successful using Neutrogena makeup remover pads.

I used Goo Gone on mine with Q-Tips and microfiber wipes. Took about 45 minutes. No more sticky buttons and the symbols are still on the buttons.
