Direct replacement unit you need to go with OEM as the power connector is Jaguar specific. I went with the Bosch unit and its only 2 cables to splice up.
Try your Jaguar dealer or even Rockauto.com

I'm going to replace my pump when I tear of the blower to replace the coolant lines. I will also change the torsion isolator and the coolant pump since every is out and assuredly will NOT use an OEM pump because More Money and Less Flow. Swapping a few wires on a pump is easy (if you know how), but I'm sure, @XKRAU , that if you brought a new pump and the old pump to pretty much any shop they'd swap the connectors for either free or just a couple bucks.

You just need to check the wiring diagram or use a multimeter to make sure the polarity is correct, else the pump might operate in reverse.

I just did the common 010 Bosch pump swap with MB pigtail. Then used connector off old pump to make an adapter so factory harness is untouched. Modified mounts a bit to make it work. Works charm!

at 140,000 or so km, I have never had a problem. Therefore no complaints.
So I’d just replace with oem.

To be honest that was my concern , verifying polarity, however the old pump and the new pump are marked so it should be pretty straightforward , I can probably solder and heat shrink the cables.

Appreciate the offer but I’m thinking if I am this far into it I would rather just put a brand new unit on then I know I’m good, my pump failed at 100K

My IC pump failed at 80,000km with the dreaded restricted performance triangle!

just ordered the Bosch 010 unit, may grab the connectors from the Merc dealer , unless I can find it online , otherwise it’s crimps or solder

I'd rather clip off the old pump connector and solder/heatshrink it to the new pump. It'd make me feel better having fewer connections and such to deal with.

the MB connector is no longer available , I totally hear you on the solder instead of additional connectors , but these modern day automotive connectors are pretty reliable these days. However if it’s unavailable , then solder it is

Well it’s certainly not repairable now, Interesting to see that the motor was not directly connected to the impeller , the motor turns a magnetic outer piece. Motor was toast

Pretty standard design, this is so there is no chance of coolant going through the seals and shorting the motor.

Hey! You used 'motor' correctly! I'd buy you a beer for a prize, but you're about 15,000 km away from me. I know, totally obvious, but I tire of people saying 'motor' when they mean "engine".
