Default Supercharger Coolant Pump

Hi Guys,

I have squealing electric water pump on the drivers (UK) side inner wing...
I thought this was for the Supercharger but now I'm a little confused as I've read that its for the whole engine? If so, is this an auxiliary pump or the main? Regardless, I've came across the following and wondered if I should be fitting this as a replacement?

eBay Item

I know this has been covered but searching Supercharger Coolant Pump doesn't really help.

Regards and Respect to all...

2007 XKR Supercharged X150

That's the supercharger pump, or rather one of the aftermarket replacements for it. They're located on the end of one of the radiators on the driver's (UK) side of the car, not in the inner wing. The main coolant pump for the car looks nothing like that and isn't in the wing either. Only pump I can think of inside the inner RHS wing is the secondary air injection (SAI) pump, that's behind the RHS headlamp.

There are 3 coolant pumps:
1 'main' that is attached to the engine block and rotates with the main accessory belt
1 electric for the Supercharger as described above
1 'auxiliary' electric for the heater circuit

Are you sure one of these is making a noise? take a pic or video and we can help you determine the issue.

Sorry for jumping in on this post, I'm looking for the part number for the auxiliary water pump. I have a 2007 XKR 4.2L supercharger. My local garage is charging a arm and a leg for the auxiliary water pump (aftermarket). There are two different aux water pumps showing as available and compatible on amazon, C2P3531 + C2C6517. Any insight would be appreciated.

Thks R

Hello, Did you find out which pump is the good replacement ? I have exactly the same problem on my 2007 xkr. I got a warning on the dash while driving by 70 mph .( restricted power ) No engine light on. Then check with my OB2 and code PO 2601. Also did you replace the pump yourself ?
PLease let me know, Any help is appreciated.

I found a replacement for my car, part number C2P3531, and I'm taking it to my mechanic this week to have it fitted. He said its not a big job, maybe 2hrs. Easier to bring it to the mechanic as its in a tight space.
