2010 XKR Chattering Noise
Hi Gang,
My 2010 has developed this chattering noise, heard while inside the car. It's intermittent, in that it starts and then stops and then starts up again. I have found that it happens when driving. The next time that I drive it, I'll pop the hood. Any thoughts?

I had a severe rattling that I thought was something to do with the supercharger, but it turned out the water pump (what a surprise) was vibrating so badly it produced a prodigiously loud rattling. Check your water pump.

popping the hood while driving is not gonna do much, but I suggest getting an automotive stethoscope, it will narrow things down for you. Waterpump as previously stated, is the first thing to check. Next Alternator, and then the tensioner.
