Default 2010 XKR display screen stays on

Hello. My 2010 XKR display screen stays on occasionally after turning off the engine if I don't lock the vehicle. Not a huge deal, but was wondering if this was common for this year and if there was any way to correct it. Thanks all!

It takes longer for all the modules and such to power down due to Convenience Mode with the engine off. It's made that way. By locking the car, the module shut-down happens much earlier. There really is Zero reason to NOT lock the car. Since these things are so finicky about battery voltage, a person should do everything to save the battery. That includes locking the car every time it is off.
