Trip Computer Hidden Menu
Does anyone know how to get into the Trip computer Diagnosis menu on a 07 XKR? I got there once by accident and not exactly sure how to get back. Im trying to figure out how to get to the on board voltage meter.
This one? Not much there.
If your XF or XK is equipped with a navigation screen, you can access a hidden diagnostic menu with the following instructions:

- Start the car (you can do this with the key on but you don't want your battery to die on you)
- On the "Menu" screen, press the top center of the screen (there is no icon there) for more than three seconds.
- Enter the PIN code:
- 660: Diagnosis Menu screen
- 661: System Check screen (DTC code verification screen)
- 662: GPS Information screen
- Touch "OK"

No I mean the screen between the the speedo and tachometer. My main screen is not working and after testing the battery. Im wondering if there is a internal loss of voltage somewhere. So im interested in seeing what the Vehicle is reading.
To rest the Nav (main) screen... switch off ignition, exit and lock car and leave out of range of smart key for a few minutes.

Looks like two separate options.
1) Press and hold the reset button for the average fuel, speed, mileage on the end of the signal light stick, at the same time press the ignition switch. The information centre flashes up information about the car. VIN number and a whole lot of other info.
2) Hold in the button on the end of the stalk, keep foot off brake then press start button and hold it in keep holding it in then click through with the button on the stalk, it goes through about 8 or 10 screens of data engineering test mode, gauge sweep, module check ets then your little screen goes blank and some stuff happens, starting then stopping the engine sets it all back to normal .

The OP wanted to monitor voltage and that is one of the items displayed.
I posted this on another thread earlier in the year but this is my 07 XKR in diagnostic mode. Voltage is shown at 00:40

I wonder how hard it would be to swap the XFR cluster into an '07? Pretty sure the circuit board would need swapped but I like the silver face...

If you swap the circuits then it won't work at all as it's part of the immo and also probably changed hugely over the years.
If you can change cosmetic parts only then should be ok.

XRF Cluster swap: I looked into this. The XRF instrument face in my opinion is more legible. I bought on eBay an XRF instrument cluster like the one referenced by Rancho 50. My intent was to swap just the instrument facing. The instrument facing is easily detached. I was concerned whether the ports for all the led warning lights were the same on my '07 XK and the XKR. The project stalled.
If that's the OP's primary goal, then the easiest and least expensive way is with an ELM327 OBDII Bluetooth reader and the free Torque App. Lots of threads already on how to do this.
