2011 Exhaust Fumes inside cabin on acceleration
I have a gorgeous 2011 XK 5.0 Portfolio edition.
The car has been great but of late I have noticed that when I accelerate hard in it I begin to smell exhaust fumes inside the cabin. This is only when I go beyond 5k revs. I don't believe the exhaust is active or switchable though there are some actuators on the rear silencer.
I suspect an exhaust leak or something to do with the vents that are usually under the rear side of cars that allow air to escape..
Anyone suffered this?

Thoughts are the ECU may just be running rich enough at 5k that you are noticing the smell. An exhaust leak should be audible before you smell anything in the cabin.
Check the seals around the trunk / hatch first. There is one drain plug in the spare tire well that could have popped out too.
