Hi All,

Just learned I need a new fuel pump on my 2014 XKR. Buddy who did the ceramic pro found the issue when doing an oil change for me.
I see my paperwork lists Approved CPO Warranty Expiration date of 2019 or 100,000, I'm at 45,000, but not sure what it covers. Dealer mentioned they'd have to hook it up to system to see what the computer says is the issue and couldn't confirm my warranty because the Jaguar computers were down (this is primarily a LandRover dealership)?

Any ideas if you think the water pump would be covered, 1.
And two, what it might set me back if not covered?

Guy who scheduled the appt said it should be covered if it's the water pump...but getting details from this place is like (insert some funny wise crack here].

Read your service contract! the odds are vary high that the replacement will be covered particularly if it is a Jaguar labeled contract.

 

Found it. Yes, still under warranty until October of 2019. Glad he caught it now. Towing her to the dealer this morning.
