Really there is though, using an cRapple cord and the cRapple adapter in the center console and some device or other.

 

Bovee 1000. Connects to ipod connection in console. Works flawlessly. Search Bovee 1000 on this forum.

I may have to start looking into all this stuff as my kid is about to purchase a 2007 and he wants better audio. The car does not have the Aux in the glove box, and I forgot to look in the center console, although I do believe that started in 2009.
