Default 5.0 XK front cross over pipe and rear water manifold pipe replacement.

2010 5.0 XK 45k miles.

After driving spiritedly I noticed steam coming from my hood, and then soon after "coolant low" came up,
luckily i was less than a mile from my home and made it to the garage without overheating (I have OBD2 temp sensor)
Previously I bought all the hoses and plastic parts for my car, EXCEPT the rear water manifold...dang murphys law

I am looking for some instructions/pictures on how to replace the rear water manifold, part # AJ814007
and the front water outlet pipe aka crossover pipe part # AJ89664

Does the intake manifold need to come off to replace the rear pipe, or only for replacing the front?

What are the torque specs for retorqing the intake manifold?

Any advice appreciated.. I will update with pictures and instructions as I do this job.

Thanks in advance.

The rear water manifold / crossover pipe that hooks to the heater core is bokted to the back of the engine by 4 t30 torqs bolts. Climbing onto
the engine is the best way.

the intake manifold does NOT need to be removed
to access the rear water manifold.

Follow the procedure in the Workshop Manual, if you don't have the Workshop Manual, you can download it here:

Thanks for the workshop manual,

I was unable to find instructions for changing these parts in the workshop manual.
