It looks like there have been two events so far. Has anyone been to one of them yet? I'd love to hear a review.

 

Looks like a good time and it's also about time that Jag offers such a program. It is a little annoying that they are limiting particpation to owners of 2010 XKR and XFR's. What about those of us who just paid $95K less than a year ago for an 09 not to mention loyal customers for the last 20+ yrs.(just a little bitter about the participation requirements.)

 

Jag now has a Facebook page for the R Performance Academy. Just search for Jaguar R Performance Academy at the top. They plan on having some of the instructors post in the near future as well.

 

I bet you a good driver in an XK could outdrive an XKR :P

 

Depending on the track and driver a good driver in an xtype could beat and XKR. Over the yrs I've had my behind kicked by all kinds of cars that on paper couldn't come close to the performance of the car I was driving. Like safety features the most important performance feature of a car is what's between the ears of the person sitting behind the wheel.
