Hi has anyone changed their AFS headlights to non AFS? I need to change out my damaged units and non AFS units seem to be easier to get hold of.

 

I have not swapped it. I ended up fixing mine, which were messed up mechanically but excellent cosmetically.

I believe that you could, but you would need SDD to program it out; and I'm not sure about SDD engineering mode being needed for that.

 

Do any Jag techs know if it practical?

 

I'm selling a set of ads lights (07~10) , comparing them to non ads the plug wiring is quite different as is internal adjustment/movement portions. I don't think you can change the settings to overcome the wiring differences.
