We have a 2010 Jag XK convertible left side drive (USA). One owner with 11k miles.
We recently had the car detailed or cleaned by a local detailer.
We can not get the seat backs to move up to the upright position. Both passenger and driver seats. They will recline but not raise much more than 30 degrees from the upright position.
The fuses are all good. We have tried many things but our assumption is that somehow there is a memory fault or the seats have both slipped a cog from the seat back latch.
Regardless the seatbacks are too far back to have proper protection from the belt restraints.
We are 600 miles from a reputable dealer for service.

Try pressing the back and forth button down at the front of the button. This should "tilt" the seat forward enough to get the back of the seat in the upright position you want.
