Default Another Day at the Track

So recently made another excursion to my local 1/4 mile timing facility, and was a might disappointed to be honest. I have been able to turn out fairly consistent 12.7s once I'm in the groove, but this last go, I only managed a best of 12.9 @ 107 mph.
Subsequent runs managed to see improvement on reaction and 60ft but higher ET and lower trap speeds.I am hoping it was just the weather, as it was mid 80s F and pretty humid.
Any of you track vets have some input? I'm hoping with those results I'm not looking at a tired engine or an engine getting tired.

On a positive note, managed to beat a Roush supercharged Mustang, which honestly surprised me, although I suspect he had either had a bad start or maybe let off.

Love that you actually use/track your car.

When people ask me how to describe my XK, I usually say a, "...foreign Corvette..." That gets them right into the mind space for what we have.

Mid-80's is high to be drag racing in!

Superchargers hate the heat so I wouldn't expect great results much beyond mid-70's F.
