Default Any idea what this is?

Found this assembly attached to the wiring harness at the front of the engine.

Can't identify in the manual, and doesn't seem to be plugged into anything except the wiring harness. Looks like it has a mounting bracket that will attach it to something, but was just hanging free down the left front of the engine.

Can you identify?

Thanks!

Possible. Weird, huh? I didn't take it apart, since I didn't want to screw up a sensor (if it was). So I don't know if it has connectors in it.

Any more bids? Not a whit of documentation that i can find. Maybe it's a special trigger for bad guy stuff in the Bond movies. Or it has a button in it that makes it change into an Aston Martin when pressed.

Is that a quick connect for the dealer installed supercharger option?

Not seen on a 2010 NA. I'm stumped.

Not that I can find, searching through the lists of sensors and connectors. Don't want to do a page by page, of course.

But thanks for the tip -- I haven't looked through the electrical manual.

So the wiring guide image led me FL055, which appears in the electrical guide to be a pedestrian protection accelerometer connector ... maybe.

It'd make sense that it's a leftover, since the PPS doesn't exist in the American version.

(I can stop obsessing now....)
