It's not really an engine wiring harness. It is a main harness with some sections attached. Whatever, SNG Barratt can supply every single piece of harness for an S Type in correct black fabric with blue fleck, plastic sheath for under fender etc. etc. I replaced every wire on my car. Short delay sometimes required while they are made up. I would hate to try & make my own with all the required fittings etc. Bit of a nightmare.
You need to talk to them. It's not all shown on the website.

I bought mine from Autosparks https://www.autosparks.co.uk/finder
They are great and use all the original braiding, they probably supply Barratts!

Go to the Autosparks website that Homer has kindly given & it shows all the harness divisions. Barratt's is still trying to sort out their new website which is why I suggested talking to them. I wish they would leave it alone. At the previous change they made Mr Barratt have their web developer on the phone to me for days because I could not find things I knew they had in stock.

I replaced all the wiring in my mk2 with a painless kit. Modern style wiring, larger gauge, better connections, better insulation, 12 separate circuits marked with modern blade style fuses, easy to access relays and flasher units, etc. etc. It wasn't too hard to adapt to the car but took time and patience, perhaps not for the faint of heart. That said my lights are bright and everything works without hesitation.

I did a full re-wire myself, Lin kindly provided all the schematics in the original format so I could adapt for RHD, take a look at his website entries for this, Lin put in a huge effort compiling the website and I have to take my hat off to him for all his efforts as it is a great resource for many to follow.
