Default Cheap source of Wheel Speed Sensor wire/wiring harness?

While cleaning/inspecting the wiring harness leading to one of my Wheel Speed Sensors, I broke off the wire at the connector.

The places on the 'web that stock these short cables want $100 a piece for them. IT'S A 3-FOOT WIRE!

It's part number LJG3410AC. Anyone have any ideas on where to get one for less?

Many thanks,

Marc

(Why was I messing with it? Trying to fix the DSC/ABS/TRAC fault that wasn't cured by cleaning the wheel speed sensors)

(Why don't I just solder it? It broke off right at the connector - nothing to solder to)

Try a wrecking yard (breaker for the Brits). Also Motorcars Ltd. did sell used parts for Jags out of Houston. Not sure what part of Texas you're in...it's kind of a big place you know.

I've had good luck with Jaguar Heaven out in California.. ordered several used parts from them and I've had no issues. Their prices can be a bit high, but are negotiable usually. Just call... don't bother filling out the email contact form.

Jaguar parts from the original Jaguar Heaven! Jaguar parts for classic to current models

Thanks. Motorcars used to have a place in Austin, not far from my house, but it closed recently.

Not interested in one from a wrecker... several are on eBay but they are mostly $30-$40 and if they're from Texas then they will probably be like mine - all my boots are bad. Texas heat kills rubber.

My plan at the moment is to rebuild my existing one using an aftermarket connector

I took on the rebuild project using an aftermarket connector last night. It seems to have worked. I'll post a separate thread on how I did that, maybe at the weekend.

Looking forward to your details. Sooner or later, we all face this issue if we keep our cars long enough....

Default Just realized I totally forgot to update this thread

I did the fix a few months ago - still working great.
