I think you will find that the "missing hose" nipple is blocked. Only one hose is used.
Good luck with the sensor. Mine was leaking and I replaced the whole unit.

Early Model Years had a second Bleed Hose from the top LH corner of the Radiator to the Expansion Tank. This was soon discontinued and the design of the Expansion Tank altered to have a blanked second outlet. I've often wondered why they didn't just remove the second outlet entirely!

well, changed the sensor was pretty easy but coolant light only went out for 5 minuets. took out again and cleaned inside where sensor goes with solution and a q-tip still no luck. i think i'll have to just replace the whole unit. will have to order one first. also fixed my emergency brake light, cables under car needed tightening up also adjusted emergency brakes on both rear wheels. cruise started working also. ( don't know how ?) put new rear brakes in too. had some help , thank god...................
