It is an unusual color. Taiga green metallic, which I don't see anywhere in the model brochures. I am really wanting to get back into an XK, but this is not near enough for me to look at in person. Any info would be appreciated.
Neat looking car but I wonder how hard it is to get the pimple off it's nose? Per the color, in the F type sub they were told it was BRGM, British Racing Green Metallic.
Yeah, I hate the hood leaper, but love the color combination. BRG metallic was a standard color for the XK in 2012. I have seen a few XF and XJ 2012 US spec models for, sale here and there. It seems lighter than BRG metallic, more like the Emerald Fire color a few years earlier. I guess maybe it was a special order color.
It might possibly be Botanical Green, which was a 2011 (MY12) colour.
Except Botanical Green is HHN. I've gone through all of the model year brochures and so far all I have found is emerald fire, botanical, BRG and JRG - it appears you have found an ultra rare special order color.

It is a rare color. The paint code is HAC and the trim code is RGB. I have seen a few XF and XJ models in Taiga listed for sale that are US spec cars, but never an XK. This car was for sale in 2014 and I wanted it then but couldn't move on it. We'll see if I have any better luck this time. Thanks for the responses. I have posted an inquiry on the XF forum page to see if anyone knows what this color looks like in person. No luck in that yet. Taiga on my iPad appears to be lighter than BRG, more like Emerald Fire from a few years ago.
If it is anything close to Emerald Fire, it is a superb color. I had an '08 XK with the Emerald Fire paint and just about everyone, including the dealer personnel, commented that it was the best color for Jaguar. I agree and hated to let it go.

Lucky you! If I had known about Emerald Fire before I bought my Radiance Red, I may have waited for one to pop up, and made it my first non-red vehicle purchase. EF is a fantastic color.

Pics aren't the greatest, but Emerald Fire was the reason for trading my XK8 for a new Christmas present back in 2008.
According to the Jaguar Heritage Trust, Taiga Green was temporarily substituted for Botanical Green for about 6 months as a result of materials shortages caused by the 2011 Tohoku earthquake and tsunami. The Taiga Green trim code is HAC and is the same color as Land Rover Galway Green. JHT estimates that about 50 XK's were painted Taiga Green.
