Default Anybody know how many 2010 XKs were produced?

For the 2010 model year, I'm curious how many were made? How many shipped to the US? And how many were coupes? Anybody know the answer to these trivia questions?

Don't know about MY2010, but in the calendar year, Jag sold 2137 XKs in the US; see:

Jaguar XK Sales Figures

No tin-top vs. rag-top breakdown.

You can see that with the redesign in 2006 there were double the sales that Jaguar had in 2008 when it cooled off. Every year since, the sales have declined. Guess it's time for another redesign. Although they don't give Coupe numbers, you can assume from the resale ratio of Coupes and Convertibles for any particular year, there seems to be 2 Convertibles for every one Coupe for sale. It's not very scientific but it does give some idea.

Thanks, that certainly explains why you don't see very many on the street.

From everything I've read, the coupes are about a third of sales. That puts about 5700 in the US that are '07 through 13. No wonder you see so few on the road.

It would be interesting to see a break-down of XK vs XKR too. I'm in the northeast and see a lot of cars on my 35 mile commute, but I can only remember seeing 1 XKR blow by me in the last year or two. Comparatively speaking lots more BMW 650s which is what I almost bought before taking the plunge with the 2010 XKR.

Florida is the main headquarters for Jaguar ownership. That being the case, I still don't see 2006+ XK or XKR Coupes very often. Convertibles on the other hand I may see at least one or two a day.

I think the sales numbers for XK include XKRs. If so, the XKR is very rare. Maybe 10% of total sales?

Agreed, I see convertibles somewhat regularly but there just aren't a lot of coupes out there.
