Anyone know how to remove the Gauge Cluster Cowl?
I have the infamous leather pull on my cowl and was wondering if anyone had instructions on how to remove it as I would like to repair or replace the leather.
Did a forum search and couldn't find any threads on removal.
Also have the Workshop Manual but cannot find any instructions on removal.
Figured it would be easier to repair out of the car.

Ouch, I was wondering what it looks like, and what to look out for, sorry to see that. I made sure to put my sunshade up when I parked today.
Gut feel is that its held from the underside, requiring the dash to be pulled out to get to the fasteners, but hopefully someone has the straight scoop on it, and I'm wrong.

Yep, don't notice from inside the car though.
Pretty sure I have to remove gauge cluster but wanted to see if anyone had the scoop before pulling.
Probably end up looking like crap if I don't remove and fix in place.

Not a lot of help in my service manual for the instrument cowl... Just shows removing the dash itself.
I'd be tempted to pull the cluster and see if you have some sort of access from inside, but in all honesty, I haven't any idea what you would even see back there...
