Leaking hydraulic oil from a 4 post lift cylinder ruined my XK's belt molding. I wasn't able to buy that rubber stripping separately, so I had to buy a whole new trim assembly new from Jaguar including the chrome piece.

I know sometimes they fade on our cars, so if anyone is looking for a LHS chrome door trim, just pay shipping and I'll send it to you! It should fit all XKs.

Pictured is the entire piece, but you can pull just the chrome trim off the ruined rubber molding and attach it to your own. Jaguar does not sell them as separate pieces, even if they are detachable.
