Good thing you spotted it , that screw screwed up the tyre

Just wish that tyre shops in the UK would repair Z rated tyres.

So can you ask them to dismount the tire
You repair it at home
Then ask them to remount the tire?

Seems to me this rule has pure "marketing" written all over it...

Thats in a repairable area, but any repair degrades the speed rating. I would just self plug it and be done. The good news, you dont have much tread left on that anyway before youre into the wear indicators. maybe 5k miles depending on your right foot maybe less

Very repairable location; just keep below 100 mph and should be fine!
Another reason to dump the EU; why would anybody want another layer of Government
