Default ASL Feature

I used this once in an attempt to keep the speed within reason on city streets' posted speed limits and found it irritating. I feel that one sometimes needs a burst of speed to actually avoid a potential problem.

Do any of you use this feature on a regular basis?

I haven't tried it. Does it actually prevent you from exceeding the set speed? I assumed it would just beep a warning (like it does in my VW). Otherwise it would actually seem a little dangerous to me.

I use it all the time. If you put your foot down hard it automatically cancels and you get the burst of acceleration.

I tried it once. I - like you - find it irritating.
