Audio IPOD and cupholder
hey forum....
I am new to this forum butt I am going to start by asking stupid questions...
I just bought a 2011 XKR 175, it has the smallest cup holders in the center console, one can barely fit a water bottle, it pulls right out but does anyone know if they have bigger ones or newer models are larger, I called the Sacramento Jag dealership and the parts guy was not helpful.
also the center console has a IPOD connection but the radio interface does not play the songs correctly just some of the songs, it shows the folders but wont play, I hooked a newer and an older IPOD and the older does not even work on the screen.

All cup holders are the same size, every year. Use smaller bottles?
To use the ipod adapter you need the correct cable. Since apple in their quest to gouge every cent from everyone changed their perephials pretty much constantly, you need to get the .... oh hell..... either Newest cable or one of the middle ones, I can't remember.
Me, I just have all 9,000 songs on a USB flash drive stuck into the USB port. All songs, super-handy and no ipod battery to die.

thanks toons.... I ordered the lightning cable instead of using my adapter for the IPOD, and the cup holder is not that big of a deal, it holds a bottle of water and that is really what I need anyway, the stereo is really not driver friendly but getting used to it, I will post more when I get better acquainted with the stereo and the cable comes in.
