Default Audio only on left side of car

Issue is as title states. Ended up having to go over the most disgusting washboards I may have ever seen today on my way to a beach - and now I don't have audio on the right side of the car. Super strange! Pulled door card and firmed the connections up a bit, to no avail. Tore the carpet back & have the factory amp taken out - going to order a replacement from eBay that accepts returns to see if that maybe rectifies anything. No worries if not. I did install the 12.1" android head unit about 2 weeks ago and it has been absolutely amazing.

Going forward though if that does not work; what is the fiber optic situation that plugs into the amp? I know which cord it is and which port on the amp that it corresponds to... Not sure how to test if that is what is defective (?)
It is strange because before right side of the car totally went out, the speakers were crackling and lowering in volume entirely until it eventually faded away altogether. It just actually started happening right after the washboards. Thanks for any input.

Since the head unit was the most recent addition to the car, I’d start with possible loose connections to it. Any audio coming out of it for that side? Hopefully just a loose connection externally, rather than inside the unit.

Bingo! I am attaching 2 images of the culprit and what I ended up doing to stop the disconnection.
