Default Audio system question

I have noticed on my '11 XK that when I open the driver's door all of the way that the speakers in the door cut out. I thought that perhaps this was normal although I couldn't reason why. I finally got around to checking the passenger door today and the speakers stay on when the door is opened. I am assuming I should take the car in and have this checked, but didn't want to look like an idiot if this was "normal". Anyone else have this experience? Thanks

Does not happen on my '10 XK. I've got the B&W stereo upgrade.

Sounds like you have a loose wire or connection somewhere in the door or at the speaker.

Thanks for the replies. There is definitely something loose there. I'll get it checked out this week.
