Battery issues
Winter in Ohio keeps my 2007 XK8 in the garage more than i'd like. I've had several times when the battery is dead, especially after 10-14 days of not driving it. Dealer says the car drains it's battery in that short of a period. Also it cannot recharge itself properly without trickle charger. Are there any good solutions to this? Seems like an impractical design issue to me.
If it's really true, what's the most conenient way to trickle charge the system? Thank you in advance for any assistance.

RE: Battery issues
Do you leave key in car? If so battery will drain fast. Is it a 2007? Some of the early production cars had weak battery. Dealer should test it and replace if necessary at no charge.
Dealer should also have a battery tender. $50.00 i think. This will maintain voltage and you will have no further problems. There are many many XKs out there without dying battery. Just get it checked first.
