Default Bluetooth streaming on 08 Jaguar XK?

This has probably been asked a lot but I am new to my Jag, it was a 2008 model with 35k miles, I love it but I don't really know if I can get bluetooth streaming or have to buy an adaptor of some sort, thanks in advance

I have the same car. Just go into your phone settings, set the bluetooth to discovery mode, go into the Audio settings on the radio and set it to search for bluetooth phones and set the phone on the armrest.

In about a minute...you should be good. I had to do it a couple of times, user error, with my Galaxy Note 2 but I eventually got it synced.

You can't stream music to the car, no. Bluetooth is for making and receiving phone calls only.

As 8bit said, you can't do that on our cars. You can buy an adapter such as isimple and add it to your car. I have one on the way and plan on installing it on my 07'.

Do you have aux input on your radio? How did you connect the isimple? I have an 07 without an aux input and need to figure out how to stream music via bluetooth or hard connection to my radio.

If you have AUX input kit in your glove box you can add the HTC Bluetooth adapter. It can be found here:

To get an audio input for a Bluetooth streamer, you need the Audio Connectivity Module, which can be retrofitted if it isn't already installed:
