Default On Board Computer Output Jack

I drove my 2007 XK from Bakersfield to the nearest Jaguar dealer in Fresno so have them investigate the "tail light failure" message that I get on a regular basis. Of course, it did not show up for them even after leaving it over night. So I bought a INNOVA3030 to read the code the next time that fault message shows up. Could someone tell me where to find the output connector?

Thanks,
Marvin

Under the dash to the left of the steering wheel shaft fairly close to the LH door if you feel under the dash you will feel the connector.

Just so you know, it's called the "OBD2 PORT".

Next time the failure pops up take a picture of it with your phone. Record the number of ties you get the failure and after maybe 5 or 10 go to the dealer. I did this with my cell phone docking problem and would send an email to my service adviser until he asked me to stop and bring in the car so they could replace the module.
