Default Boost numbers 5.0 vs 4.2 Xkr supercharger

Anyone know what boost numbers are supposed to be for 5.0 cars ? ?

I usually check it with torque pro app , so it might not match the manufacturer exactly . Il check the workshop manual

By only checking with a quick glance once in awhile, I don't think I've managed to get any higher than somewhere in the 7psi range. Maybe I have though, as I rarely look at the boost gauge. I've also never bothered to check the stored data.

That that makes sense then. I was kind of wondering because it appears that 4.2 produces higher boost numbers Even with both cars having a pulley 4.2 is still higher. Around 8.5 max for 5.0 and 11 for 4.2

Well, maybe I should get a smaller S/C pulley. They are the same blower models, right? If'n 11 works on 4.2, then it should work on the 5.0...... UNLESS the Volumetric Efficiency of the 5.0 is superior to the point that there is less pressure accumulated because it all goes where it should.
So many things to ponder.

The 2009 and earlier Jags used the roots M112 and the 3.0 and 5.0 cars use the TVS R1320 and R1900 respectively. Your car would benefit greatly from a small pulley as the TVS blowers are significantly more efficient than the roots style.

Just make sure you get proper tune to adjust boost otherwise ECU will keep it near stock numbers
