Hello all

I've been using the Bovee 1000 (tune2Air) bluetooth adapter for a while. Recently it's been disconnecting constantly. My phone is Android and I recently updated to 10. Anyone else have this issue? It's especially bad with Pandora. I thought it may be the phone, but I can connect to other audio devices no problem. I tried to update the firmware on the Bovee but they make it very difficult, you have to request a license key and they have not responded. I'm wondering if the issue is the Bovee or the Jag ACM unit.

 

Looked at all of the alternatives and went with Scosche BTFMA

I'm just not a fan of the FM transmitters.

I've been e-mailing back and forth with the Bovee folks. I finally was able to update my firmware, it didn't help. I'm going to use the RCA inputs with a cable, which sucks because I'll lose steering wheel controls.

 

Make sure just one device is paired to the Bovee. I had something similar and it turned out my wife and I had both our phones paired and connected at the same time. Shut one off and everything worked fine.

 

Hmm. That gave me an idea, try and connect to it with my wifes phone and see if it still does it. I've connected my phone to multiple other devices with no issue, but maybe the issue is still with my phone not liking the Bovee?
