Default Iphone 4s not docking anymore.

My iphone 4s never had a problem docking in my XF until now. Anyone else having this issue? Now my XF doesn't recognize My 4s. But it will recognize my friend's Iphone 4 and my Ipad2 and my daughters Ipad2. But not my 4s anymore after months of integration with the same phone without any problems whatsoever.

Anyone else experiencing this?

Yes, it is extremely annoying. My HTC HD7 worked for months and then when someone used my car and docked their phone mine will no longer dock. It finds the phone but drops it non stop. I deleted all the phones and repaired but it didn't fix it. Last time this happened I brought it to the dealer and they couldn't find an issue. The tech docked his phone and then when I got the car back it worked fine. I'm going to try unhooking the battery and resetting everything.

Sounds like ur talking about Bluetooth.

My Bluetooth paring works fine, never had an issue with it. I'm talking about docking the phone through the jaguar iphone cord to play the music like u would an Ipod.

Yup, talking about Bluetooth. A battery reset might still be a solution if you don't mind losing all your stored data in the car.

Yeah, I thought about that, unhooking the battery over night.. BUt when I looked at the battery in the trunk it didn't look like a 'normal battery'...Looked like it had more wires hooked up than just the normal ground and positive cables. So I just left that option alone for now.

I actually just got back from the Apple store and they replaced the phone, working fine now. No problems. The new phone docked right away and I'm back to playing the music. Maybe some lent got in the connection or something....who knows...but I'm good now

Good to hear. Maybe I'll accidentally run my phone over.

Don't forget that sometimes phone updates can cause issues. And ocassionally, a phone needs it's battery removed to once again work properly.
